Avon Romance Back Cover Description:
Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead.  She’s still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.

Being around him awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline kick of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them.  But a price on her head – wanted: dead or half-alive – means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones.  And no matter how hard she tires to keep things professional between them, she’ll find that desire lasts forever…and that Bones won’t let her get away again.

I again couldn’t put this book down!  Jeaniene does an amazing job giving enough description to keep your imagination working but keeping the book going that you can’t put it down because you just have to know what comes next!  It has some amazing love scenes, so great action, and a wonderful plot!  Cat is an awesome character and I like her more and more as the books go on…she is a tough woman who can stick up for herself and show everyone that she doesn’t need someone to protect her.  I love Jeaniene’s humor in her books as well!  She puts jokes in the perfect spots and you can’t help but laugh or at least chuckle out loud!  I’m sure if anyone walked by me during one of those parts and I started laughing, like normal, they would think I was insane and consider checking me into a ward!

I loved getting to know the new characters in the series that appear in this book and to draw up pictures of them in my mind! You can’t help but feel like you are apart of the group and feel all of the emotions they are all feeling.

I hope you all enjoy this book and this series as much as I have so far!
